Regular Meetings

Our regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.

 Regular Meetings

Held on the second Wednesday of each month

The first of our two regular DIGIT meetings takes place on the second Wednesday of each month.  The first hour is filled with demonstrations of various digital enhancing techniques, such as Photoshop CC, Lightroom, Topaz and Nic filters, and occasionally other plug-ins.

After a short break, the second hour begins with an informal discussion relating to recent photographic experiences and issues.  We also share information about upcoming photo ops, new camera equipment on the market, or photo enhancing software now updated or newly available.

We then study images submitted for the current month’s Homework Fun Project as a way to encourage experimentation with Photoshop tools.  After receiving guidance on the following month’s Project, we finish with Photo Sharing, always a popular segment among members.

Although this is our regular schedule, at times we may need to deviate from this. If you are meeting with us the first time, you may want to Contact Us to see if there have been any changes.

Every other month we have a Critique session during this time.  Otherwise, there is no regularly planned project during this part of the meeting, other than Photo Sharing for viewing and discussion among members.
