What is ON1 Photo Raw?
ON1 Photo RAW is a powerful photo editor and raw processor that uses a state-of-the-art processing engine which provides a unique photo editing experience. ON1 Photo RAW includes many powerful Lightroom® and Photoshop®-like features. It has a Browser for organizing your photos and it has hundreds of photo effects, HDR processing, panorama stitching, masking and selection tools, layers, photo resizing, and much more — all in one application. You can say goodbye to the Lightroom® catalog forever. It’s the ultimate photo editor that you own forever – no subscription is required. Annual updates are available for a fee. ON1 Photo RAW works as a standalone application, as a Photoshop® plug-in and as a Lightroom® Plug-in.
The fourth Wednesday night of each month will be devoted solely to learning and teaching each other about ON1 Photo RAW. An attempt will be made to answer any questions that you may have. Video tutorials will be used as an integral part of our programs. During and after the showing of tutorials, we will attempt to amplify and clarify points that are made in the videos. Where possible, we will use our own images to demonstrate the techniques covered. We intend to cover basic, intermediate and advanced ways to use ON1. We believe that ON1 will be an excellent way for newbies to get started with image editing as well as a great alternative for those who are advanced Lightroom® and Photoshop® users.
As part of our effort to help each other learn and use ON1, we are accumulating all sorts of related materials. These materials are available on this website by going to: Tutorials>ON1 Tutorials, Guides and Goodies. We invite all of you to contribute items to our collection.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, or want to give a presentation, please contact the ON1 Photo Raw Coordinator
Share you images with others
Please share images that you have edited exclusively in ON1 with others. It would be best if you could send us both versions of your images. We will show the images at the next meeting and ask you to make some comments about your editing techniques.
