Potpourri
An Open Forum on Digital and Related Topics
Meetings
On the fourth Wednesday night of each month, we hold an open forum during which we cover digital-related topics that are submitted by members. We encourage members to submit topics in advance so that we can be prepared to cover them adequately, but we will also ask for questions and/or topics on each meeting night.
This will give everyone a chance to get answers to their questions, to hear about problems that other members are encountering, and to learn some new tricks and techniques. The agenda for each meeting will be open-ended.
If you have any questions or comments about our In Depth meetings, please contact the Potpourri Coordinator.
How to submit your images
If you would like to submit images to be used during one of the Potpourri meetings, please follow this procedure.
Click here to go to a tutorial that tells How to Submit Images to DIGITS. The tutorial provides an easy method to use to resize, save, organize and rename your images to get them ready to send to us as email attachments. In the subject line of your email message, indicate the following: the date of the meeting, the name of the activity and your name. Example: 12/25 Potpourri MaryK. Address your message to *mgdigits*@*gmail.com* (omit the asterisks) and send it no later than noon on the day of the meeting.
If you prefer to do these steps without following the tutorial, please follow these guidelines:
Resize your images in JPEG format, 1500 pixels on the long side.
Arrange your images in the order in which you would like them to be shown.
Rename your images with your name followed by a two digit sequential number. Example: MaryK 01 (et seq)
Send the images to us as email attachments. In the subject line of your email message, indicate the following: the date of the meeting, the name of the activity and your name. Example: 12/25 Potpourri MaryK. Address your message to *mgdigits*@*gmail.com* (omit the asterisks) and send it no later than noon on the day of the meeting.
