Image Editing Workshops

Learn basic, intermediate, advanced and creative techniques

What are Image Editing Workshops?

They are meetings at which people demonstrate techniques that they use on a regular basis. The meetings usually have a theme and the presentations center around that theme. We hope to encourage everyone to participate by asking questions and by making comments. Future themes are determined based upon the input of those attending.

What Programs Do We use?

ON1 Photo RAW will be the program that we use for image management and image editing. Topaz Studio, Smart Photo Editor and others will be used for converting our images into creative masterpieces. Depending on the interest, we use Lightroom®, Photoshop®, Photoshop Elements® and other programs. We also keep an eye on most of the other image editing programs and fit them into our themes when there is enough interest or potential interest.

Meetings

The fourth Wednesday night of each month is devoted solely to learning and teaching each other. Video tutorials will occasionally be used. We intend to cover basic, intermediate and advanced ways to use ON1 and the other progrtams. We believe that ON1 is an excellent way for newbies to get started with image editing as well as a great alternative for those who are advanced Lightroom® and Photoshop® users. As part of our effort to help each other learn and use the various programs that we demo, we accumulate all sorts of related materials. These materials are available on this website by going to: Tutorials>ON1 Tutorials, Guides and Goodies. We invite all of you to contribute items to our collection. We have recently added materials for Topaz Studio, Smart Photo Editor and Luminar.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, or want to give a presentation, please contact the Image Editing Workshop Coordinator
